Designed for those aged 50+ who are looking to improve their functional strength, bone mineral density and overall fitness in a fun sociable setting

Darwin Health Group Physiotherapy

Each class has maximum of 6 participants, led by a physiotherapist through specific strengthening exercises, balance and falls prevention and light cardiovascular fitness. It is suited to all genders and abilities with our experienced physiotherapists easily adapting any exercise for every ability level. 

Having a physiotherapist led program allows participants to claim a rebate through their private health insurance.

Cost: $48/ class or 12-class pack at $537

(claimable through your private health insurance)

Times: Tuesday 9:15am & 5:15pm, Wednesday 9.15am, Thursday 4.45pm, Friday 9:00am

 

A pre-class assessment is required prior to your first class, to screen for injuries or limitations. In this appointment you will be guided through each exercise so we can ascertain your base level of ability.  If you are a pre-existing client, let us know when booking in.

PRE CLASS ASSESSMENT

Prior to commencing better bones classes at DHG, it is important to have an Initial physiotherapy assessment to identify any limitations or injuries in order to be placed into the most appropriate class level. Our better bones program includes a few different style of classes that have been designed to suit those of all capabilities.   Pre-class physio assessment involves: Identifying any injuries Identifying personal goals and structuring a plan based on these  Education regarding the basics of the equipment in order to increase your level of comfort in the initial classes Book your pre-class physio assessment today.
